FIU ECE Ph.D. First Author Publication Incentive Awards 2024

Dr. Deidra Hodges established this award to inspire, encourage, and reward ECE Ph.D. students for publishing in high-impact factor journals as first authors. The initiative aims to motivate ECE Ph.D. students to excel in their scholarly research endeavors.

Recipients of this award are recognized through presentations about their research, highlighting the significance of their contributions. The number of awardees for 2024 has grown substantially compared to the inaugural awards in 2022, reflecting the success of this program in fostering academic excellence.

We extend our gratitude to the sponsors of this year's awards, FIU Undergraduate School and the ECE Department, for their generous support.
